@Melissa - Memoirs are one type of book I really have never gotten into. But I can see myself now, if I ever take a shine to them as much as I do my romances and mysteries, then I'd be buying them up en mass as well.

@Jaimie - Thanks. :) It's probably not going to be til the end of the summer now, but I'm planning on a smooth one for a change.

@ Heather - I spend a lot of time doing research, so except for self-help and business books, buying it is like work for me. The only time I buy in batches is if I need it for a project I'm working on.

@Matthew - That is a beautiful thought. And a really good way to justify buying lots of books. :) I have a list too, and a budget, so even why I buy in batches, unless it's a really good sale the batch is usually only 3 or 4 books at a time.

I believe every book has its moment with an individual reader, and that is why I have to keep buying them in case I have a whim for that particular book.

Proud to be a glutton, but I try not to buy. I grab the ones that I'm most desperate to read and leave the rest on a list.

That was an important distinction that you made; my book buying obsession only applies to fiction. Non-fiction is a one-at-a-time purchase.

Same here, I cannot walk out of a bookstore with just one book. I hope your move goes well. Happy BTT!
