Today’s Booking Through Thursday asks:
So … any Reading Resolutions? Say, specific books you plan to read? A plan to read more ____? Anything at all?
Name me at least ONE thing you’re looking forward to reading this year!
I have a lot of reading goals for this new year.
1. To actually post reviews of what I read. I read 178 books in 2008 and haven’t written a review yet.
2. To move out of my comfort zone and read more literary fiction. Out of those 178 at least 135 were in the same genre.
3. To participate in and complete the challenges I sign up for. This will force me out of my comfort zone and help me to find new authors and genres to explore.
4. Oh yeah, I’d like to break the 200 mark this year.
I’m looking forward to an incredible 2009. How about you? What are your reading resolutions for this year.

I was looking forward to reading Dewey: the Small-town Library Cat Who Touched the World. I say was because the book was fantastic.
Other than that? Read more from my shelves or library instead of the store and actually put a book down once in a while.

I plan on finishing up the 3 books I have by Napoleon Hill – bought it at Indigo last summer, it’s a compilation of 3 of his well known works.
I tend to get books at the library to read at night so I can calm my mind down before falling asleep. Plan on continuing to get more :)
